Via Servage, you have several options to administrate (upload, download, edit, delete) your hosting related files. You can administrate your files via SSH, via the online File Manager in your Servage control panel and via a FTP program such as e.g. FileZilla. In this blog, we give you a brief guide how to access your files via Filezilla.
What do you need before you can start?
- A Servage Webhosting hosting account.
- Filezilla installed and running on your computer (download the tool from the official Filezilla page)
- Your FTP username and password. Click HERE to find out where to find the details
- A domain that points to your Servage hosting account
How to connect to the files via FileZilla?
- Click File and open the Site Manager:
- Click the New Site button:
- Enter a name for the new site.
- Enter the following settings:
- Host: Your Domain Name or server IP address.
- Port: 21
- Protocol: FTP – File Transfer Protocol
- Encryption: Use plain FTP
- Logon Type: Ask for Password
- User: Your control panel username or the username of an FTP account
- Click the Connect button.
